Background: During Covid Butterkist microwave sales went up due to people due to being at home. This campaign was all about driving reappraisal, post-Covid, to remind people of the theatre and anticipation when preparing Butterkist microwave popcorn.

Idea: When Butterkist asked us to promote their microwave popcorn, an idea popped into our heads…Billboards are the exact same proportions as microwaves!So we immediately got to work converting DOOH sites into giant realistic looking microwaves. They featured full motion video of the strangely satisfying sight of the revolving bag inside, with some sites including the sounds of the cooking corn. Using digital media in a new way and popping up all over the UK, inviting the nation to 'Go Grab The Butterkist'.
